New Delhi: Cases of corona virus infection are on the rise in some parts of the country. The new variant of Corona, Omicron, has also raised concerns for countries all over the world. Amidst all these circumstances, PM Narendra Modi has convened a high level meeting today. PM Modi will hold a meeting with top officials on the latest situation in Corona and vaccination in the country.

According to reports, the meeting on Corona convened by PM Modi will begin at 10.30 pm today. PM Modi has convened a meeting at a time when corona infection is spreading rapidly even in schools and colleges in the country. There are reports of students and teachers being affected by corona virus infection from different states of the country including Karnataka, Telangana, Rajasthan, Odisha.

The new variant of the Corona virus has also raised concerns for countries all over the world. While many countries, including the United States, have announced strict urea on international flights, especially South African flights, India is all set to launch them. A day earlier, the Civil Aviation Ministry had announced the launch of international flight services, which had been stalled for nearly a year, from December 15.
