Charanjeet Singh Channi has now taken over the command of Punjab. He has become the first Dalit CM in Punjab. Let me tell you that he took an oath at the swearing-in ceremony held at Raj Bhavan at around 11.20 am this morning. Charanjeet Singh Channi, as well as Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa and then Om Prakash Soni (OP Soni), were also sworn in. In fact, both of them have been made deputy CMs. Let us tell you that 41 people were allowed to come to Raj Bhavan. Rahul Gandhi, Navjot Singh Sidhu, Harish Rawat, Sunil Jakhar and all senior leaders participated in the list but Captain Amarinder did not arrive. Tell us tell you that Randhawa, who became deputy CM, is a Sikh face, while OP Soni is a Hindu leader.

The Congress has played a new game and tried to woo all sections. On the other hand, Charanjeet Singh Channi has started receiving congratulations. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi also congratulated Charanjeet Singh Channi. In fact, the Prime Minister has tweeted and in this tweet, he writes, "Congratulations to Shri Charanjit Singh Channi Ji on being sworn-in as Punjab" s Chief Minister. Will continue to work with the Punjab government for the betterment of the people of Punjab. Let me tell you all that after the finalizing of Charanjeet Singh Channi as the new CM of Punjab Congress, it seemed that the political turmoil would stop, but it has not happened.

Just before Charanjeet Singh Channi was sworn in, former state president Sunil Jakhar has objected to the party in-charge Harish Rawat's statement. Harish Rawat had said that "the next assembly elections in Punjab will be fought with the face of Navjot Singh Sidhu. Sunil Jakhar says, "Rawat's assertion is to underestimate the capacity of the new chief minister.''
