Prime Minister Narendra Modi did not go to his office on Friday for the first time in Delhi for four and a half years. After the demise of Atal Bihari Vajpayee, he has been busy since Thursday. The body was bought from AIIMS to their official residence, and on Friday, from the government house to the headquarters of the party, the PM was present until the last visit. Sources said that Modi suddenly thought of walking on Atalji's last visit. Previously, they were reported to be reached directly at the site of the funeral. After the decision to join the funeral of Atal ji, security arrangements were chalked out.

It took 1.40 hours to travel on the 6 km journey. The crowd was so large at Vajpayee's last visit that it took only 1.40 hours to complete the mere 6 km journey from the BJP headquarters at Deen Dayal Upadhyaya to the memory place.

Vajpayee's last visit started with the BJP headquarter located on DD Marg and reached the memory spot, including ITO Crossing, Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg, Delhi Gate, Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Marg, Shanti Chowk. Thousands of people waited for the last glimpse of his mortal remains.

In the sequence of the funeral, the Granddaughter Niharika and Vajpayee's daughter controlled their emotions. But, as soon as Namita gave a fire to Vajpayee's mortal remains, they broke down. Niharika looked passionate even while getting the last glimpse of her maternal grandfather draped in tricolour.
