Ahmedabad: PM Narendra Modi on Saturday dedicated the popular pilgrimage site of Pavagadh Kalika Temple in Panchmahal district of Gujarat. This temple and its premises have been redeveloped. PM Narendra Modi hoisted the flag on the occasion. Due to redevelopment, the foundation stone of a large complex was first laid by widening the top of the Pavagadh hill, then ancillary facilities were erected on the first and second floors of the complex. The original sanctum sanctorum has been retained and the entire temple has been rebuilt. The main temple and the open area have been widened.
The same was in the old temple of Mataji where there was a dargah in place of 'Shikhar'. The dargah has been shifted to an amicable settlement and a new 'spire' has been constructed, on which the pole has a flag flag emblazoned. By hoisting the same flag, Prime Minister Modi dedicated the temple. During this time, PM Modi laid the foundation stone of schemes worth 21 thousand crore rupees in Gujarat.
On the same occasion, Prime Minister Modi said, "When the dream becomes a resolution and the resolution is in front of the eye as a siddhi. You can imagine it. Today's moment fills my heart with special joy. One can imagine that after 5 centuries and until after 75 years of independence, the flag was not hoisted on the summit of Mother Kali, today the flag on the peak of Mother Kali is fahary. This moment inspires us and gives us energy and motivates us to live with dedication to our great culture and tradition. Today, after centuries, the flag is once again hoisting at the top of the temple at the Pavagadh temple. This summit flag is not just a symbol of our faith and spirituality! This summit flag also symbolizes that centuries change, ages change, but the pinnacle of faith remains eternal. ’
