In the spirited atmosphere of Ayodhya, with excitement building for the upcoming grand consecration of the Ram Temple on January 22, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Amrit Bharat and Vande Bharat trains, alongside various other projects, at the refurbished Ayodhya Dham Railway Station.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has officially opened the doors to the revamped Ayodhya Dham junction railway station, a project valued at Rs. 240 crore. During his visit on Saturday, he kickstarted Phase I of the station's redevelopment and also launched the Amrit Bharat and Vande Bharat trains. This momentous occasion was accompanied by the dedication of several other significant railway initiatives to the nation. The Prime Minister's arrival in Ayodhya was met with a warm reception led by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
This visit by Modi holds significance as it precedes the highly anticipated consecration ceremony of the Ram Temple scheduled for January 22. Additionally, he inaugurated the Maharishi Valmiki International Airport in Ayodhya Dham around midday.
In a public program slated for around 1 pm, Modi is expected to participate actively. This segment will witness the Prime Minister inaugurating various developmental projects valued at over Rs. 15,000 crore in the state.
Among these projects are investments totaling approximately Rs. 11,100 crore designated for the growth and enhancement of Ayodhya and its adjacent regions. Furthermore, there are projects worth around Rs. 4,600 crore focused on various initiatives across Uttar Pradesh.
The momentous occasion at the Ayodhya Dham Railway Station saw Modi flagging off two Amrit Bharat and six Vande Bharat Express trains, marking a significant milestone in the region's transportation infrastructure development.
