New Delhi: Saturday, on Independence of Bangladesh Prime Minister Narendra Modi greeted Bangladesh and hoped for the further growth of India's relations with the neighbouring country.

While greeting Bangladesh, PM modi tweeted "Independence Day greetings to the people of Bangladesh." he added "We cherish our long-standing ties and I am sure our relations will grow even further," Mr. Modi said.

Bangladesh celebrates its Independence Day on March 26.
