New Delhi: PM Narendra Modi has launched the Motihari-Amlekhgunj (Nepal) Petroleum Product Pipeline on Tuesday. It is South Asia's first cross-border petroleum products pipeline. PM Narendra Modi has inaugurated this pipeline through video conferencing with Nepal's PM KP Sharma Oli.

During this time, PM Modi has said that after Nepal was engaged in reconstruction work after the devastating earthquake of 2015, India, being a neighbor and a close friend, put forward his hand for cooperation. PM Modi said that I am very happy that with our mutual support we are able to settle down again in Nepal's Gorkha and Nuwakot districts. The roof has come again on the head of the general public.

PM Narendra Modi said that it is a matter of great satisfaction that this first cross-border petroleum pipeline of South Asia has been completed in record time. It was ready in half the time than expected. PM Modi further said that its credit goes to your leadership, mutual support of the Government of Nepal and our joint efforts.
