New Delhi: Indo-Japan Dialogue is being organized to strengthen the relationship between India and Japan. Addressing the event through video conferencing, PM Modi said that I would like to thank the Government of Japan for its continued support to the Indo-Japanese dialogue. This forum worked a lot to promote the thoughts and ideas of Lord Buddha, especially among the youth. Historically, the light of Buddha's message has spread from India to various parts of the world.
In the Indo-Japan dialogue program, PM Narendra Modi said that today I would like to propose the construction of a library for traditional Buddhist literature and scriptures. We will be happy to make this type of facility in India and provide appropriate resources for it. The library will not only be a repository of literature. It will also be a platform for research and dialogue.
PM Modi said that discussion on global development cannot be done only among few. The table should be large. The agenda should be broad. Growth patterns should follow a human-centric approach and, to our environment. In the past, humanity has often taken the path of confrontation rather than cooperation. From imperialism to world war. From the arms race to the space race. We had dialogues, but they were intended to pull others down. Now, we grew up together.
