PM Modi to attend BJP's high-level virtual meet in Jaipur on May 20-21

New Delhi: The Bharatiya Janata Party will conduct a high-level meeting of its office bearers from throughout the country in Jaipur, Rajasthan on 20th and 21st of May to discuss strategy, organisational changes, and preparations for the upcoming assembly elections in various states.

The BJP confirmed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will virtually attend the meeting and address the party workers. JP Nadda, the BJP's national president, will preside over the meetings. The meetings will be attended by state presidents, state in-charges, co-in charges, and general secretaries from across the country.

State presidents and general secretaries, according to reports, have been asked to present a detailed account of the work done by state entities. "A detailed discussion of the party's measures to develop its organisation since its formation will be held," sosurce said.

The meeting would include discussions and deliberations about poll preparation for states that are due to hold elections soon. 

Within a year, assembly elections will be held in Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Himachal Pradesh, and Karnataka. On May 20, the meeting of all state office bearers will take place, while the meeting of general secretaries will take place on May 21.

The BJP has begun its preparations for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections as well as assembly elections in various states. Various high-level meetings were recently held in the national capital to discuss the party's strategy for the assembly elections in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh, according to sources.
