New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will meet with the Prime Ministers of Denmark, Iceland, Finland, Sweden, and Norway on Wednesday for the second India-Nordic Summit.
Modi will meet with Nordic leaders at the summit to discuss climate change, renewable energy, and innovation and technology. He will also meet with the Prime Ministers of Iceland on a bilateral basis. Jonas Gahr Store, Finland Katrin Jacobsdottir, Norway Sanna Marin and Magdalena Andersson of Sweden.
On the second day of his European tour, he arrived in Copenhagen on Tuesday. Modi met with Denmark's Prime Minister, Mette Frederiksen, in a bilateral discussion to discuss a wide variety of problems, including regional and global issues. The two leaders met one-on-one before holding talks at the delegation-level.
Both Prime Ministers discussed the Green Strategic Partnership between India and Denmark. Cooperation in renewable energy, particularly offshore wind and green hydrogen, skill development, health, shipping, water, and the Arctic, were among the topics discussed.
Modi then addressed both the corporate delegation and the Indian community. Later that day, the Indian Prime Minister visited with Denmark's Queen Margrethe II in Copenhagen's Amalienborg Palace.
