NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will join fellow parliamentarians for a special screening of the movie The Sabarmati Report today at 4 pm today, December 2. The event will take place at the Balyogi Auditorium in the Parliament Library Complex.
The film, starring Vikrant Massey in the lead role, depicts the tragic events surrounding the 2002 Godhra train incident. It has sparked significant attention, particularly from political circles, including the BJP. PM Modi previously praised the film for "revealing the truth" behind the incident and criticized the “fake narratives” that have surrounded it, emphasizing that “facts will always come out.”
In a post on X, PM Modi shared the film's trailer, stating, “Well said. It is good that this truth is coming out, and that too in a way common people can see it. A fake narrative can persist only for a limited period. Eventually, the facts will always come out!”
