PM Modi to hand over health card scholarship to children orphaned due to Corona tomorrow

New Delhi: PM Narendra Modi will present a gift to the beneficiaries of the PM Cares for Children Scheme tomorrow (May 30). Children entitled to the scheme will be given scholarships, passbooks of PM Cares Fund and health cards of Ayushman Bharat. The scheme was launched by PM Narendra Modi on May 29, 2021. It included children who lost both their parents to corona infection in the period from March 11, 2020, to February 28, 2022. A portal named PM Cares for Children.in was also introduced under the scheme.

Efforts to make self-reliant:-
The scheme aims at providing living and education for such children. Efforts are also being made to empower and make these children strong and self-reliant through scholarships. One of the goals of the scheme is also to ensure care by providing financial assistance to these children.

You will get an assistance of Rs 10 lakh:-
The assistance of Rs.10 lakh is provided to children covered under the scheme on completion of 23 years of age. It is built on a single-window system.
