Lucknow: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is about to launch the construction works of Agra Metro Rail Project through video conferencing on Monday. Yes, in this video conferencing, Governor Anandiben Patel, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Union Minister of State for Housing and Urban Affairs (Independent Charge) Hardeep Singh Puri are going to attend. This event is going to be held at the 15th Corps PAC Parade Ground in Agra. Talking about this, a spokesman of the state government said that the work of the Agra Metro Rail project is going to be done under the supervision of the UP Metro Rail Corporation.

The state government spokesperson also says that the Agra Metro Rail can be 29.4 km long and will also have two corridors. It is reported that Sikandra will be around 14 km from Taj East Gate and there will be 13 metro stations. At the same time, the second corridor will be from Agra Cantt. To Kalindi Vihar and its length will be 15.4 km. There will be a total of 14 metro stations under it.

It is being said that 26 lakh population of Agra can benefit from the Metro Rail Project. It is also being said that the corridor of the Agra Metro Rail will connect four major railway stations, bus depots, colleges, major markets and tourist destinations in the city. By the way, today Gomtinagar office of UP Metro is decorated very well. There are also reports that Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath may also participate in the foundation laying program.
