PM Modi launches ‘Customized Crash Course programme' for Covid-19 frontline workers

New Delhi: PM Narendra Modi will launch the 'Customized Crash Course Programme' specially designed for Covid-19 frontline workers through video conferencing at 11 am today. With this launch, the programme will be launched at 111 training centres spread across 26 states. PM Modi's address will be after the launch of the crash course. The Union Minister of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship will also be present on the occasion.

The program aims to skill more than a million Covid warriors across the country and teach them something new. Covid warriors will be trained in specific roles related to six tasks such as home care support, basic care support, advanced care support, emergency care support, sample collection support and medical equipment support.

The programme has been designed as a special programme under the Central Component of Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana 3.0 with a total financial outlay of Rs. 276 crore. The program will prepare skilled non-medical health workers to meet the current and future needs of the manpower in the field of health.
