New Delhi:  Prime Minister Narendra Modi will embark on four southern states for a two-day tour to introduce a number of development initiatives totaling more than Rs 25,000 crore.

On November 11 and 12, PM Modi will visit Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana.

On November 11 at around 9:45 am, the Prime Minister will present floral tributes to the statues of Maharshi Valmiki and the saint poet Sri Kanaka Dasa at Vidhana Soudha in Bangalore, the Prime Minister's Office said.
He will flag off the Vande Bharat Express and the Bharat Gaurav Kashi Darshan Train at Bangalore's KSR railway station at at 10:20 am.

PM Modi will open Terminal 2 of Kempegowda International Airport at about 11:30 a.m. He would next unveil the 108-foot bronze monument of Nadaprabhu Kempegowda at around midday, followed by a public event in Bengaluru at around 12:30 am. PM Modi will attend the 36th Gandhigram Rural Institute Convocation ceremony in Dindigul, Tamil Nadu, at roughly 3:30 pm.

The Prime Minister will dedicate and lay the foundation strone for numerous projects in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, on November 12 at around 10:30 am. He would go to the RFCL facility in Ramagundam, Telangana, at about 3:30. The Prime Minister will then inaugurate and lay the foundation stone for many projects in Ramagundam at around 4:15 p.m.

The Terminal 2 of Bangalure's Kempegowda International Airport, which was constructed for almost Rs 5,000 crore, will be officially opened by the prime minister. The terminal will more than treble the airport's present capacity of 2.5 crore passengers annually to 5-6 crore passengers annually, PMO said.

The passenger experience at Terminal 2 is envisioned to be like taking a "walk in the garden," paying homage to Bengaluru's Garden City. More than 10,000 square metres of green walls, hanging gardens, and outdoor gardens will be passed by passengers. "The Airport has already set a standard for sustainability thanks to its campus-wide use of 100% renewable energy. The design of Terminal 2 incorporates sustainability ideas throughout. According to sustainability initiatives, Terminal 2 will be the biggest terminal in the world to receive a pre-certification platinum rating from the US GBC (green building council) before it starts operating. All of the commissioned artworks at Terminal 2 share the "Naurasa" motif. The artworks capture the essence of India as a whole as well as the history and culture of Karnataka "PMO stated.

Overall, four guiding principles i.e,Terminal in a Garden, sustainability, technology, and art and culture,have had an impact on the design and architecture of Terminal 2.

The Prime Minister will flag off Chennai-Mysuru Vande Bharat Express, Bangalore at Kranthiveera Sangolli Rayanna (KSR) Railway Station.

This will be the first Vande Bharat Express train in South India and the fifth overall. The PMO said that it will improve connectivity between Chennai's industrial hub, Bengaluru's IT and startup scene, and Mysuru, a well-known tourism destination.

The Bharat Gaurav Kashi Yatra train will also be flagged off by the prime minister at Bangalore KSR Railway Station. As part of the Bharat Gaurav initiative, wherein the government of Karnataka and the ministry of railways collaborate to convey pilgrims from Karnataka to Kashi, Karnataka is the first state to board this train.
The PMO stated that pilgrims would be given a pleasant place to stay and directions for visiting Kashi, Ayodhya, and Prayagraj.

The Prime Minister will  also unveil a 108-metre long bronze statue of Sri Nadaprabhu Kempegowda. It is being constructed to honour Nadaprabhu Kempegowda, the city's founder, for his contributions to Bengaluru's expansion.
