NEW DELHI : Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Gujarat and Tamil Nadu on Thursday-Friday ( July 28-29) during which he is scheduled to inaugurate and lay foundation stones for a number projects and attend programmes.

On July 28, PM would launch and lay the groundwork for numerous Sabar Dairy projects in Gadhoda Chowki, Sabarkantha, Gujarat. After that, the Prime Minister will fly to Chennai to proclaim the 44th Chess Olympiad.

After visiting Anna University's 42nd Convocation, the Prime Minister will return to Gujarat and visit GIFT City in Gandhinagar, where he will launch and lay the groundwork for numerous initiatives.


On July 28, he will visit Sabar Dairy in Gujarat and inaugurate and lay the foundation stone for numerous projects totaling more than Rs 1,000 crore. "These projects will enhance the revenue of local farmers and milk producers." According to the Prime Minister's Office, this will also help the region's rural economy.

The Prime Minister will open the Powder Plant at Sabar Dairy, which has a capacity of around 120 million tonnes per day (MTPD). The total cost of the project exceeds Rs 300 crore. He will also dedicate the Sabar Dairy's Aseptic Milk Packaging Plant, which has a capacity of three lakh litres per day. The project was completed with a total investment of approximately Rs 125 crore.

In addition, he will set the groundwork for the Sabar Cheese & Whey Drying Plant Project. The project's anticipated cost is roughly Rs 600 crore.

The Prime Minister will visit GIFT City (Gujarat International Finance Tec-City) in Gandhinagar on July 29 to lay the foundation stone for the headquarters building of the International Financial Services Centres Authority (IFSCA), the unified regulator for the development and regulation of financial products, financial services, and financial institutions in India's International Financial Services Centres (IFSCs).
