New Delhi: The Cabinet Committee on Security (CCS) meeting has ended in the midst of Russia's ongoing attacks on Ukraine. There has been no press briefing after the meeting. According to the information received by the sources, top officials of the security system were also present in the CCS meeting. Let us inform that the second flight of Air India has left for Bucharest (Romania) from Delhi to bring back the Indian citizens trapped in Ukraine. At the same time, the first flight in the morning has reached Romania.

PM Narendra Modi, Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, Home Minister Amit Shah, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar and Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman were present in this meeting. According to sources, India's move to the UNSC, the latest war situation, international developments, the reaction of world leaders were discussed in the meeting. Earlier, after Russia's attack on Ukraine, PM Modi had called a meeting of CCS on Thursday night as well.

Along with this, PM Modi also spoke with Russian President Vladimir Putin and appealed for an immediate end to the violence, emphasizing that India gives top priority to the safe exit and return of its citizens from Ukraine.
