Bhopal: Former Madhya Pradesh CM Kamal Nath on Saturday accused the BJP government of cheating farmers. Kamal Nath said that farmers are not getting compensation for the bad crop. Kamal Nath said that whenever the BJP government has come to power in the state, the farmer has been disturbed. In the Shivraj Government, farmers are not getting fertilizers, no seeds, no irrigation and no adequate electricity. The right price of their crop is not even getting the compensation for the bad crops. The farmers have once again been duped in the name of claim amount of crop insurance amount.

Kamal Nath alleged that the government had claimed that no farmer would get a claim amount of less than Rs 1000. The amount of the difference will be compensated by the Government. But despite the passage of two weeks, the list of those farmers has not been made and the payment has not been made so far. Kamal Nath said the government's claims proved to be false and airborne. The government has left the farmers to trust God.

The former CM said that the Shivraj government had made tall claims two weeks ago to put 76,000 crore rupees of crop insurance claims in the accounts of 49 lakh farmers of the state by holding big events in the state. While the reality is that even today, this amount has not reached the accounts of thousands of farmers, the farmers whose accounts have already reached, the amount is being adjusted in the loan by the banks without their approval. Cash withdrawals have been banned. Lakhs of farmers have received less amount in proportion to the loss. Many farmers have received less than the amount of premium deposited as claims.
