Raipur: Addressing an election rally in the country's largest state UP, Rahul Gandhi spoke about the development model of Chhattisgarh. Addressing a public meeting in Thouri on Friday, he said, "The dream that I had seen for the development of Amethi is being fulfilled by the Bhupesh Baghel government of Chhattisgarh on the ground.

Rahul Gandhi said that the Chhattisgarh government is working towards the economic prosperity of the farmers, under which food parks and processing units are being set up in every district there. He said that if the government is formed in UP, this dream will also be fulfilled in Amethi. Rahul Gandhi talked about the development of 140 food parks and warehouses being set up in Chhattisgarh. He said that 10 thousand 500 Gothans under construction under Suraji Gaon Scheme would be developed as a Rural Industrial Park.

Processing units like dal mill, oil mill, rice mill are being set up in the same godowns. In addition to these agro-based units, dozens of enterprises like making electricity from dung, making gulal and sandalwood, soap making have been taken up in the godowns. In which the families of the farmers are getting employment. In addition to these, arrangements have been made for their purchase through The Mini Vanopaj Cooperative Union by fixing the support price of Kodo-Kutki-Ragi in Chhattisgarh. These small grain crops are being processed and marketed all over the country by processing them in the state itself.
