Indore: Under the PM Fasal Bima Yojana, now the policy is being given to the farmers for the first time as a document of the scheme. The policy will be distributed to the farmers at the hands of CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Union Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Minister Narendra Singh Tomar at the 'Meri Palisi Mere Haath' programme to be held at Burhi Barlai village in Indore city.

In the function, the policy of crop insurance will be distributed symbolically to some of the farmers. Certificates will also be distributed to the selected Farmers Producer Organisation (FPO). Krishi Mela and exhibition will also be organized by the Department of Agriculture and other companies at the venue. At the fair, farmers will also be told about the use of drones in farming.

Along with this, CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan lit the lamp by Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar. After that, he also started the ceremony by performing Kanya Pujan. He was welcomed on the dais by Water Resources Minister Tulsi Silawat. State Agriculture Minister Kamal Patel was also present on the occasion. Ritesh Chauhan, CEO of the PM Fasal Bima Yojana, while giving information about the crop insurance scheme in his welcome address, said that the scheme has given relief to crores of farmers. The scheme was started from Madhya Pradesh six years ago. Now, the farmers will go to their homes and give the policy of the scheme.
