New Delhi: PM Narendra Modi on Tuesday greeted the people on the occasion of Prakash Parv of Sri Guru Granth Sahib. PM Modi wrote on Twitter that Guru Granth Sahib Ji's great principles teach compassion, justice, and equality to the whole of humanity. Guru Granth Sahib is the revered holy book of Sikhs. Guru Granth Sahib was established on August 27, 1604, at Harmandir Sahib (Golden Temple) in Amritsar.

 

 

PM Modi shared a picture of himself bowing in the Gurudwara and wrote on Twitter, "Best wishes on the auspicious occasion of Prakash Parv of Shri Guru Granth Sahib Ji. His impressive principles of compassion, justice, and equality guide the entire humanity." Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri also tweeted his greetings to all on the first Prakash Parv of Guru Granth Sahib. He wrote in his tweet, "Congratulations to all of you on the first Prakash Parv of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji. On this day, the first 'Prakash' of the holy book was started by the fifth Patshah Shri Guru Arjan Dev Ji at Darbar Sahib, Amritsar.''

Union Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia also tweeted, "Congratulations and best wishes to all on the first Prakash Parv of Guru Granth Sahib Ji! Shri Guru Granth Sahib Ji teaches us social harmony, compassion and brotherhood. Imbibe their learning and always walk on the path of human development and the progress of society.''
