NEW DELHI: On the 7th and 8th of July, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has an extensive itinerary as he embarks on visits to four states. His schedule entails visiting Chhattisgarh and Uttar Pradesh on the 7th of July, followed by Telangana and Rajasthan on the 8th.
In the vibrant city of Raipur, Chhattisgarh, the Prime Minister is poised to unveil and lay the foundation for numerous development projects worth an estimated Rs.6,400 crores. Notably, these projects encompass the inauguration of five National Highway initiatives. One of the key projects is the 33 km 4-lane expansion of the Raipur to Kodebod section on the Jabalpur-Jagdalpur National Highway. This transformative development will not only enhance connectivity but also foster tourism in the region. Additionally, the Prime Minister will lay the foundation stone for three National Highway projects within the Chhattisgarh segment of the 6-lane Greenfield Raipur - Visakhapatnam corridor.
Continuing his journey, Prime Minister Modi will proceed to the historic city of Warangal in Telangana. During his visit, he will ceremoniously lay the foundation stone for several road and rail infrastructure projects, collectively valued at approximately Rs.6,100 crore.
The city of Bikaner in Rajasthan will witness the Prime Minister's presence as he dedicates himself to unveiling and laying the foundation for a range of development projects, amounting to a staggering Rs.24,300 crore. Among these initiatives, a noteworthy highlight is the introduction of a six-lane greenfield expressway segment within the Amritsar - Jamnagar Economic Corridor. Additionally, the foundation stone for Phase-I of the Inter-State Transmission Line for Green Energy Corridor will be laid. Lastly, the Prime Minister will also initiate the redevelopment project for the Bikaner Railway Station.
Apart from these momentous occasions, Prime Minister Modi will seize the opportunity to distribute loans under the PMSVANidhi scheme, present keys of PMAY Rural houses, and provide Ayushman cards to beneficiaries in Uttar Pradesh. These visits epitomize the government's commitment to bolstering infrastructure development and fostering socio-economic growth in the respective regions.
