Lucknow: The political turmoil in the Uttar Pradesh elections is at its peak, with all the candidates still making rounds of political parties for their tickets, while many candidates are contesting as independents. Pm Modi's friend Abhinandan Pathak has announced that he will contest as an independent candidate from Sarojini Nagar assembly seat in Lucknow.  

In fact, Abhinandan Pathak, who is known as the face of PM Modi, will contest from Sarojini Nagar assembly seat in Lucknow. According to media reports, Pathak has announced to contest as an independent. Earlier, he had also sought a ticket from the BJP, but he did not get any response from the party. According to the report, he said that he tried very hard to get a BJP ticket, but failed.

He had sought a ticket from Lucknow through a letter from BJP chief J P Nadda and Union Home Minister Amit Shah, but they did not pay heed to my letter, Pathak said. Describing himself as a Modi devotee, he said the BJP may ignore me, but I will definitely contest the elections.
