NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi's popular 'Pariksha Pe Charcha' initiative is set to be recreated on a virtual platform. The National Council for Educational Research and Training (NCERT) is working on a proposal to develop an interactive portal that will host PM Modi's speeches and allow students to take selfies with him in a 2D/3D environment.
This decision comes amidst ongoing controversies over alleged irregularities in competitive examinations. The opposition has raised concerns about the credibility of these exams and has called for PM Modi to address issues related to the medical entrance exam NEET.
NCERT has released an Expression of Interest (EoI) document to find vendors for developing the Virtual Exhibition for 'Pariksha Pe Charcha'. According to report, the goal is to create an interactive 2D/3D platform that engages and interacts with attendees. The plan aims to attract at least one crore online visitors annually.
"The aim is to recreate 'Pariksha Pe Charcha' in a virtual format, allowing audiences from across the country to experience the event all year from their homes. The virtual platform will showcase arts, crafts, and innovation projects by students, providing inspiration and motivation to others," states the EoI document.
The virtual exhibition will include an exhibition hall, an auditorium, a selfie zone, a quiz zone, and a leaderboard. A dedicated selfie zone will allow attendees to take selfies with the Prime Minister, post them on a selfie wall, or share them on social media.
The auditorium will feature speeches and addresses by the Prime Minister and other esteemed ministers, along with essential sessions and discussions for students. The exhibition hall will display projects from students in arts, crafts, and science, featuring 3D/2D avatars of students with their interactive exhibits or video recordings of their projects.
