New Delhi: PM Narendra Modi on Thursday addressed Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MPs on the occasion of the death anniversary of Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay in Delhi. Inaugurating the address, PM Modi said, "Today we all gathered here to pay tribute to Deendayal Upadhyay Ji". On many occasions earlier, we have been getting the opportunity to participate in Deendayalji's programs, to have ideas and to hear the views of our senior people.

PM Modi further said, 'It is our thought stream that we are taught the lesson of politics in the language of national policy. Even in our politics, national policy is paramount. If we have to accept one in politics and politics, then we have got the values, we will accept national policy, will put politics in another place. ' PM Modi, while rejecting the idea of political untouchability, has said that worker is not given importance to dynasty in the party.

PM Modi said, 'Pranab Mukherjee, Tarun Gogoi, SC Jamir none of these politicians have ever been part of our party or coalition. But it is our duty to honour his contribution towards the country. We may have political parties, our views may be different, we fight against each other with full force in elections, but that does not mean that we should not respect our political opponents.'
