Kochi: PM Modi addressed an election rally in Palakkad, Kerala on Tuesday. This is PM Modi's first rally in Kerala ahead of the Assembly elections on 6 April 2021. During this, PM Modi said that the people of Palakkad have an old and close relationship with the BJP, so they have come here to seek the blessings of the people. He said that the politics of Kerala is changing in the last few years, due to the aspirations of the youth, especially the first time voters.
Meanwhile, PM Modi targeted the state's ruling leftist coalition LDF and the Congress-led UDF, saying that the people of Kerala are traumatized by both, as they are playing match-fixing. He said that in Kerala, both come together in turn to rob the public, but go to Delhi and become one. He said that he has come here with the vision of development of Kerala. At the rally, 'Metro Man' E Sreedharan welcomed PM Modi.
PM Modi further said that people are seeing how UDF and LDF confuse people. He said that it is clear that UDF and LDF have two objectives - to carry forward the politics of vote bank and fill the pocket. Meanwhile, PM Modi interestingly referred to Judas Iscariot, stating that he had betrayed Jesus Christ for a few silver pieces, just as the LDF tricked Kerala for some gold pieces.
