Srinagar: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday (October 30) addressed a Rozgar Mela in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir. During this, PM Modi said that today is a very important day for the promising youth of Jammu and Kashmir. Today, appointment letters are being handed over to 3,000 youths to work in the government at 20 different places in Jammu and Kashmir. 

He said that this decade of the 21st century is the most important decade in the history of Jammu and Kashmir. Now is the time to leave the old challenges behind and take full advantage of the new possibilities. I am happy that the youth of Jammu and Kashmir are coming forward in large numbers for the development of their state, and for the development of the people of Jammu and Kashmir. PM Modi said that the way infrastructure is developing in Jammu and Kashmir, connectivity is increasing, it has also strengthened the tourism sector. The PM said that the people of Jammu and Kashmir have always emphasized transparency and appreciated transparency. Today the youth who are coming into government services have to make transparency their priority. 

During this, PM Modi also praised the Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, Manoj Sinha. He said that I will also praise Manoj Sinha ji and his team for the fact that they are also working hard to end the disease of corruption. Whenever I used to meet the people of Jammu and Kashmir earlier, I always felt their pain. This was the pain – corruption in the systems. People of J&K hate corruption. He said that Jammu and Kashmir is the pride of every Indian. Together we have to take Jammu and Kashmir to new heights.
