Bangalore: Former Karnataka Governor and former Law Minister Hansraj Bhardwaj passed away on Sunday night. He breathed his last at the age of 82. Hansraj Bhardwaj was one of the senior Congress leaders. His funeral will be done on Monday today. According to the family, Hansraj Bhardwaj has died due to cardiac arrest.

The funeral of Hansraj Bhardwaj will be done at 4:00 pm today. His family has told that he will be cremated at Nigam Bodh Ghat in Delhi. On the death of Hansraj Bhardwaj, PM Narendra Modi on Sunday expressed grief over the death of former Union Minister and veteran Congress leader Hansraj Bhardwaj. Born on 19 May 1937 in Haryana, Hansraj Bhardwaj spent the longest time as Law Minister during the UPA's reign. Hansraj Bhardwaj has been the Law Minister from 22 May 2004 to 28 May 2009. Along with this, Bhardwaj was the second such law minister, who had the longest tenure after independence.
