PM Modi said that the campaign to deliver water to every house has been done for more than a year now. During this time, arrangements have been made to provide pure drinking water from the tap to more than 26 million families in the country. PM Modi said that Vindhyachal region has been a victim of neglect for decades after the country got independence. This entire area became an area of scarcity even after resources. Despite having so many rivers, the region remains the most thirsty, drought-hit region.
