NEW DELHI: At the third parliamentary party meeting of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) after winning the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, PM Modi has issued strict instructions to all MPs on ministers. The meeting, which was held at the GMC Balyogi Auditorium in the Library Building of Parliament House, is attended by all the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha MPs besides PM Narendra Modi.

Apart from PM Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and several Union Ministers attended the meeting. During the visit, PM Modi gave strict instructions on the presence of ministers. Prime Minister Modi said that ministers who are not on roster duty should be informed by the evening on the same day. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has asked MPs to take part in government work and schemes. With this, he instructed MPs to be present in the House and engage in social work in their respective areas.

Earlier, at a parliamentary party meeting held on Tuesday (July 9), PM Modi had issued a directive to all MPs to take out 150 km of Padyatra in their respective areas from October 2 (Gandhi Jayanti) to October 31 (Sardar Patel Jayanti). PM Modi had said that the MP has to travel 15 kilometres per day.
