Regarding this, the central government has sought advice from all the states whether it should be taken forward or not. Today, PM Modi has spoken with the Chief Ministers of all the states through video conferencing. It is being told that after this, PM Modi can also address the country regarding this.

West Bengal CM Mamta Banerjee of the meeting said that Bengal has suffered a lot of economic damage due to corona and lockdown. A package from the centre is needed to fight the coronavirus. Chief Ministers of Punjab, Delhi and Maharashtra also asked PM Modi to increase the lockdown.

Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal said that the lock-down should be extended till at least 30 April.
