New Delhi: Teacher's day is being celebrated across the country today. Teacher's day is celebrated every year on the birth anniversary of Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. PM Narendra Modi, President Ram Nath Kovind, Union Home Minister Amit Shah have given best wishes to all the teachers on the occasion of Teachers' Day. Today is the last day of PM Modi's visit to Russia. On the occasion of Teachers' Day on September 5, he tweeted and wished all the teachers.

The important work of Dr Radhakrishnan is mentioned in this video. Remembering the contribution of Dr Radhakrishnan, PM Modi has described him as an extraordinary teacher and mentor. At the same time, President Ramnath Kovind wished all the teachers on Thursday on the occasion of Teacher's Day.
