Varanasi: PM Narendra Modi has reached Varanasi on a day-long visit on Sunday. In his first tour of 2020, PM Modi will present the Mahakal Express connecting the three Jyotirlingas and the development projects worth Rs. 12 crores. Earlier, PM Modi reached Varanasi Airport by airplane special aircraft at 10:25 am.

UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, BJP State Unit President Swatantra Dev Singh, Minister Neelkanth Tiwari, Minister of State Anil Rajbhar, Mayor Mridula Jaiswal, MP from Machishahar, BP Saroj, Pindra MLA Avadhesh Singh have arrived to welcome him. PM Modi will leave Mahakal Express via video link. Later in the afternoon, PM Modi will inaugurate several programs of Kashi Ek Roop organized by UP Designing Institute at Hastkala Sankul located in Baralalpur.

Along with this, PM Modi will inaugurate Deendayal Upadhyay Smriti Bhawan and inaugurate a 63 feet high bronze statue at the stop after attending Veer Shaiva Mahakumbh in Jangambadi Math. During the address to the public meeting here, PM Modi will also inaugurate projects worth Rs 997 crore and a foundation stone of Rs 198 crore. During this, after communicating with five thousand enlightened and dignitaries, they will distribute checks and kits to the beneficiaries of many schemes. Ambassadors and entrepreneurs from many countries will participate in this event. PM Modi will leave for Delhi at 4 pm.
