PM Modi shares video on agricultural laws, says farmers: 'Listen to you'

New Delhi: Amidst farmers' agitation, PM Narendra Modi has tweeted about agricultural laws. Through this tweet, he has tried to dispel the confusion that has arisen in the minds of farmers. In a tweet on Friday morning, PM Modi shared a video in which Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar and Union Minister Piyush Goyal are discussing agricultural laws.

Sharing the video, PM Narendra Modi wrote in a tweet, "Two of my cabinet colleagues Narendra Singh Tomar and Piyush Goyal have elaborated on the new agricultural laws and demands of farmers. Listen to it," on Thursday. Narendra Singh Tomar and Piyush Goyal attended a press conference. Here, Narendra Singh Tomar had appealed to the farmers to take back the agitation while trying to dispel the confusion of farmers on agricultural laws. However, the farmers had threatened to intensify the agitation soon after the press talks.

Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar had repeated in a press briefing on Thursday that three new agricultural laws are for the welfare of farmers. He said the Centre is open to deliberations to address any concerns of farmers.
