On National Technology Day, PM Modi remembers 'Atalji' and pays tribute to nuclear test

New Delhi: May 11 is the 131st day of the year and India achieved a great success on this day and gave a message to the world that we too are no less than anyone. We are talking about the 1998 nuclear test in Pokhran. On 11 May 1998, the Government of India announced a successful nuclear test at Pokhran. Since this success, India has been celebrating May 11 as National Technical Day.

Today, on this occasion, PM Narendra Modi has paid tribute to former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee of the country. PM Modi tweeted that, technology warriors are also contributing in fighting the coronavirus. We salute them. He called it a strong political leadership, recalling the Pokhran nuclear test in 1998.

In a program of 'Mann Ki Baat', I said these things under the commendable leadership of Pokharan, Indian scientists and Atal ji.
