Meanwhile, Union Minister Prakash Javadekar said that a few years ago, there were only 1400 tigers left across the country, but the tiger population has now increased to 2,967. It's really a pleasure. He said, the data collected was collected by surveying 3 lakh 80 thousand sq km in respect of tiger population. There were 26 thousand camera traps. There were 3.5 lakh pictures and 76 thousand tiger pictures.

"Prime Minister Modi guided us for this task. As a result, the forest cover has increased in the last 5 years. Forest cover is extended over 15 thousand square km. All life beings are part of our lives. Today, the whole world will salute that India has done such a great job of developing tigers. The details of census of tigers are released every four years.
