Kolkata: The political summer is currently at its peak in West Bengal, with PM Narendra Modi once again taking the field on behalf of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) to give more edge to this summer. Pm Modi will hold three rallies in Bengal this week. Pm Modi's rally is proposed on March 18, 21, and 24. TMC MP Shishir Adhikari is likely to hold the BJP's hand during PM Modi's rally. PM Modi is scheduled to rally in Kanthi on March 24.

Shishir Adhikari said on Sunday that if he is invited, he will attend PM Narendra Modi's public meeting in Kanthi on March 20. Shishir is the father of BJP leader Subhendu Adhikari. Shubhendu Nandigram, who recently left the Trinamool Congress and joined the BJP, is contesting against West Bengal CM and Trinamool Congress (TMC) supremo Mamata Banerjee in the assembly constituency.

Today is the second day of Union Home Minister Amit Shah's visit to Bengal and Assam. Even today, he will participate in election events in both states. Amit Shah will hold the first public meeting at Jhargram at 11 am. This is followed by a public meeting at Ranidam in Bengal at 1 pm. Yesterday, Amit Shah had a rally in Tinsukia in Assam followed by a roadshow at Kharagpur in Bengal.
