New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday remembered  the founder of Jan Sangh and social reformer Dr. Narendra Modi. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee on his death anniversary. Prime Minister Modi has said that Dr. Singh's visit to the country is a matter of good will. Mukherjee devoted his whole life to the unity and integrity of India. In a tweet, Mr Modi said, "I remember Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee on his Sacrifice Day. He was a devoted patriot and nationalist."

Prime Minister Modi has said that Dr. Singh's visit to the country is a matter of good will. Mukherjee's whole life was devoted to the unity and integrity of India. His passion for a strong and united India still inspires us and empowers us to serve 130 crore Indians. It is worth mentioning here that on 23rd June 1953, Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee passed away.
