PM Modi on the fifth installment of relief package, says 'These measures will revive the economy of the village'

New Delhi: The fifth installment of Rs 20 lakh crore relief package was announced on Sunday to revive the economy due to coronavirus epidemic and nationwide lockdown. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman gave information about the fifth installment today. PM Narendra Modi has praised the measures suggested by Finance Minister in the fifth installment.

PM Modi tweeted that these measures will help in reviving the village economy. In the midst of the Corona crisis, the government has imposed a moratorium on insolvency proceedings in new cases of debt default to relieve the industry. Apart from this, an additional allocation of Rs 40,000 crore has been made under MNREGA for the employment of migrant workers returning to their homes.

After these measures, PM Modi tweeted that, 'Today the measures and reforms announced by FM will have a transformative effect on our health and education sectors. They will promote entrepreneurship, help public sector units and revive the village economy. This will also speed up the reform trajectory of the states.
