Bhopal: In view of the results of the Madhya Pradesh assembly by-elections, Prime Minister Narendra Modi today said, "People have ensured a stable and strong government in the state." He said this through a tweet. In a tweet on Twitter, he wrote, "The people of Madhya Pradesh have ensured a stable and strong government in the state. I thank the people of Madhya Pradesh again for their faith and blessings on the BJP. After these results, the development journey of Madhya Pradesh under the leadership of Shivraj Ji will now move at a faster pace."

As soon as PM Modi's tweet was seen by Shivraj Singh Chouhan, he immediately expressed gratitude and wrote, "Hon'ble Prime Minister, thank you very much for your encouraging words and invaluable good wishes. I and the team MPs are committed to make Madhya Pradesh self-reliant for the self-reliant India of your dreams. Your inspirational words have given us new power. Thank you." The BJP won 19 seats in the state assembly by-election.
