New Delhi: Senior Congress leader and former PM Manmohan Singh has his birthday today (Thursday). Manmohan Singh is 87 years old. On the occasion of birthday, PM Narendra Modi has congratulated the former PM Singh. Apart from PM Modi, many other leaders of the country are also congratulating Dr. Singh. While tweeting in the US, PM Modi wrote that, 'Happy birthday to former PM Manmohan Singh. I wish him a long and healthy life.

It is noteworthy that former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, who is considered the architect of economic reforms in the country, was born on 26 September 1932 in the Punjab province of undivided India. Manmohan Singh was the Prime Minister of India from 2004 to 2014. During his tenure of a decade, many questions were raised on Manmohan Singh's silence, but this simplicity was also his biggest feature. In the last five years, Manmohan Singh has been continuously targeting the Modi government on big issues, whether the implementation of GST, the announcement of demonetisation and or the impact of the economic recession in recent times.

One attack by Dr. Manmohan Singh creates problems for the Modi government. During the tenure of Manmohan Singh, who was PM from 2004 to 2014, there were many allegations of corruption against the UPA government. However, Manmohan Singh himself always remained impeccable.
