BANGALORE: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is embarking on a 2-day visit to Poll-bound Karnataka, a state that is soon to hold Assembly poll for 224 seats on May 10.
This is Modi's eleventh trip to a state that will hold elections since February of this year. As oper schedule, He fly out of Delhi today at 8:20 a.m. in a special aircraft and land at Bidar Airport at 10:20 a.m. He will next fly by helicopter to Humnabad in the Bidar district, where he will speak at a public gathering at 11:00.
Modi will fly to Vijayapura to speak at a second public gathering at 1 pm after the public gathering in Humnabad. After that, he'll travel to Kudachi in the Belagavi region where he'll give a public speech at around 2:45.He would then take a night flight to Bengaluru to hold a road show in Bengaluru North.
Before leaving Raj Bhavan on Sunday morning to address public meetings in Kolar, Channapatna in Ramanagara district, and Belur in Hassan district, Modi will spend Saturday night in Bengaluru. Before leaving for Delhi on Sunday, he will also hold a road show in Mysuru.
The traffic police have also advised road users coming from Magadi towards Bangalore to take a diversion at Tavarekere. The traffic police have also asked road users to avoid Magadi Road and those travelling from Mysuru Road and Tumakuru Road to take suitable directions. Vehicles coming going the city towards Magadi Road have to join Mysuru Road after taking a diversion at MC Circle and reach Tavarekere.
