Lucknow: Recently, the first meeting of the National Ganga Council will be held on Saturday at 11.10 am in the Chandrasekhar Azad Agricultural University campus here. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will preside over the meeting. In the meeting, there will be a brainstorm on the cleanness and unrestrainedness of the Ganges. In this meeting where the Chief Ministers of two states UP and Uttarakhand, Bihar, Deputy Chief Minister of UP, Union Water Power Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, along with many ministers of all the five states along the Ganga, Chief Secretary, Principal Secretary and Director General of NMCG, Rajiv Ranjan Mishra and more than 40 prominent people will be present.

In the meeting where the state of Ganga will be discussed in five states UP, Uttarakhand, Bihar, Jharkhand, Pt Bengal. Modi will review whatever works have been done so far to make the Ganga pure and uninterrupted in these states. After this, an action plan will be prepared for what can be done to make Ganga clean and its edges beautiful in the coming time.

At the same time, it has been learned that after the meeting, Prime Minister Modi along with all the Chief Ministers, ministers and officials will inspect the Ganga from Atal Ghat via motor boat. During this time, he will take a selfie by standing near Sisamau Nallah. The reason for taking a selfie is that the Kendra government has succeeded in turning Sisamau Nallah, which has been falling in the Ganges for a long time.
