New Delhi: Punjab and Maharashtra Cooperative Bank i.e. PMC Bank is going through a crisis these days. The bank is accused of financial negligence. Several bank account holders have filed a police complaint against the bank officials on Thursday. Customers have filed complaints against the chairman of the bank and its directors for embezzling customers' money. A delegation of bank account holders reached Sian Police Station in central Mumbai and filed a complaint against the bank officials.

The police official said, the delegation has filed complaints against at least 14 people including the chairman of PMC Bank and all its directors. It has been said in the complaint that all the officers of the bank against whom the complaint has been made, together have misappropriated the money of the account holders. Account-holders have requested to take appropriate action in this regard. The account holders have also demanded that the passports of those whose names are in the complaint be confiscated so that they cannot leave the country.

Apart from this, the account holders have also asked the chairman and directors of the bank to give clarification on the embezzlement of customers' money. The police officer said, 'We have received a written complaint from the account holders of PMC Bank. Further action will be taken after investigation of the complaint.
