If you are thinking of trying something new in the morning breakfast, then Poha Dhokla is a good option. It is also very easy to make and it is also a good dish for breakfast in the morning. Usually, you will find a lot of variety of Dhokla in the market, but the taste of Dhokla made at home is different. Besan Dhokla is usually made at home, but if you have to try something new, then you can make Dhokla with the help of Poha as well. Dhokla made of poha is also very tasty.
Poha - 500 grams
Curd - 250 grams
Ginger paste - 1 tbsp
Turmeric - 1/2 tsp
Chilli paste - 1/2 tsp
Oil - 2 tbsp
Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
Salt - as per taste
Soda - 1/4 tsp
Coriander leaves finely chopped- 1/2 tsp
Take special care that you have to use thin Poha to make Poha dhokla.
Take Poha first in a bowl. After this, soak the Poha in curd and keep it aside. You have to beat the yoghurt properly before soaking the Poha. Pohe is to be soaked in curd for half an hour.
After this, make ginger and green chilli paste. Peel the ginger thoroughly before making a paste. In this solution mix turmeric, salt, green coriander, soda and oil well. Pour this solution in the curd in which you have mixed Poha.
After this, now you have to take a low depth bowl and apply oil from all four sides. Then spread the prepared solution well in the pot.
After this, keep the bowl for steam. In twenty to thirty minutes, the delicious "Poha Dhokla" will be ready. After the dhokla is ready, pour sugar, curry leaves and oil on top of it. You can serve dhokla with green chutney.
