Born on February 14, 1952, in Ambala Cantonment, Haryana, Sushma Swaraj was a brilliant politician as well as a bright living. She graduated in Sanskrit and Political Science from Sanatan Dharma College in Ambala. In 1970, she was awarded the best student in his college. Sushma Swaraj was also elected as the best cadet of the NCC of SD College Cantonment for three consecutive years and the best speaker of the state for three years. She then received a law education from Punjab University, Chandigarh.
She was also awarded the Highest Speaker award in 1973 from Punjab University. In 1973, at the age of 21, Swaraj started serving as an advocate in the Supreme Court of India.
