New Delhi: On the first day of the second part of the budget session in the capital Delhi, a political struggle is visible in the Parliament on the Delhi riots. The opposition parties have decided to bring an adjournment motion in both houses of Parliament to surround the central government on large number of deaths and wastage in this riot. The Congress has announced to raise the demand of the resignation of Home Minister Amit Shah in the Parliament, making the failure of the central government, especially the Home Ministry, an issue in the riots.

According to the information received, as soon as the proceedings of both the houses of Parliament begin, the issue of 45 deaths and hundreds of injured in the Delhi riots will be raised by the opposition on Monday. It was agreed in the informal discussion of top leaders and strategists of opposition parties on Sunday, March 1, 2020. Giving notice of the adjournment motion in both houses on behalf of the leaders of all other opposition parties, including the Congress, the postponement of the question hour will be raised to discuss the situation in the Delhi riots.

Session will end on 3 April 2020: Sources say that the adjournment notice will be given under the leadership of Leader of Opposition Ghulam Nabi Azad in Rajya Sabha, led by Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary, leader of Congress Parliamentary Party in Lok Sabha. The meeting of the two houses will be held for the next one month in the second part of the budget session starting from Monday and this session will end on 3 April 2020. When asked about this, Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary clearly said that the riots in Delhi are a direct failure of the central government because the Delhi Police is directly under the Ministry of Home Affairs. The whole country has seen that Delhi Police remained a silent spectator during the first 2-3 days during the riots and did not take action against the rioters, due to which a large number of people have lost their lives and property worth crores of rupees has been destroyed.
