Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor recently reached Ujjain for the darshan of Mahakaal Temple because of Ranbir’s old statement that I am a beef lover. Brahmastra Director Ayan Mukherjee gave his opinion on this incident. Now Shiv Sena MP Priyanka Chaturvedi supported B-town celebrities and slammed politicians over their silence on the current situation in the entertainment Industry.

She took to her social media and wrote, “This selective protest before every movie release has become an industry& a lobby, if not collectively pushed back we are fast heading into an abyss of hate, fear& silence. The entertainment industry is an employment generator, lakhs depend on it. Speak up.”

Priyanka also shared the photo of  PM Modi with Bollywood actors and quote it, “None of this photo op will help if you’ll continue to be mute spectators to hate & believe it's not your business to talk politics. They will come after you anyway. Mahakaleshwar temple protests in Ujjain is a case in point. Shame that political prejudice is leading to such ugliness.”

Recently, Alia Bhatt and director Ayan Mukerji reached Ujjain on Tuesday for the promotion of the film Brahmastra. The Vishwa Hindu Parishad and Bajrang Dal activists started protesting outside the temple when the duo with the team arrived at the main and conch gates of the Mahakaal temple. In a viral video, protesters were heard saying,  'Anti-Hindu' Alia Bhatt and 'Beef eater' Ranbir Kapoor Could not defile the Mahakal temple after the uproar by Hindu Lions. The duo left without entering the temple.
