The politician Sanjay Gandhi was born on this day, Sanjay Gandhi was born on 14 December 1946 in Delhi. Having been stubborn since childhood, Sanjay did not mind studying and writing. He first took admission in Welham Boys' School and then to Doon School in Dehradun. But after all the efforts of Indira and Feroze Gandhi, he could not complete his schooling. With no academic qualifications, he wanted to become an automobile engineer. There was a passion for their cars behind this.

In the same desire to pursue a career in the field of automobiles, Sanjay moved to England and did an internship there with the popular carmaker Rolls-Royce for three years. He then returned to India and obtained a commercial pilot's license after practising to become an aeroplane pilot. But flying aeroplanes were not Sanjay Gandhi's last destination, his ambition was to take another flight and that was politics.

It would not be fair to say that the era of Sanjay Gandhi was an era of change in Indian politics. After independence, he created turmoil in the flat politics of India and the Congress party, which was ruling the country unilaterally, had to face the indignation of the common people of the country. Until 1974, Sanjay had nothing special to do in politics. But this year, when the united opposition against the government in the country started the process of nationwide strike, protests, it not only gave a shock to the Indira government but it also started hiccups in the country's economy. Not only this, the Indira government suffered a major setback when on 25 June 1975, the court made a strong comment on the government's functioning and the government became uneasy.
