What seems to have been completely overlooked while hearing the petition is how the communal fascists used the Babri Masjid for decades to create polarization in Indian society, resulting in the death of many innocent people across the country. Lives were lost and there was a lot of devastation. He also said that the PFI supports the struggle of the Masjid Committee against this 'attack' and in the defence of the age-old mosque and stood by the committee's decision to challenge the order in the High Court.
